The Withered Spoon

Gods only know how this place is still standing. Shattered windows, cracked boards and what appears to be the smouldering remains of a roof-fire mark every face of this grim shack. The interior has fared little better, your first footsteps sticking to a tattered carpet as you pick your way between crowded tables packed with glaring figures. On the right side a creaking staircase leads down to what you can only imagine to be some kind of monstrous privy, whilst on the left a ramshackle bar is host to a crowd of patrons pushing their way to the fore...

The grim first tavern of Three Sheets to the Wind, The Withered Spoon's violent and uninviting atmosphere is only made worse by glowering locals and some less-than-happy new arrivals, none of which particularly favour the touristing adventurers who've just stepped in their door. This map is also good for a rundown seaside pub or pirate's tavern, pasted over with mud and blood.
