Then suddenly I saw it. With only a slight churning to mark its rise to the surface, the thing slid into view above the dark waters. Vast, Polyphemus-like, and loathsome, it darted like a stupendous monster of nightmares to the monolith, about which it flung its gigantic scaly arms, the while it bowed its hideous head and gave vent to certain measured sounds.
I think I went mad then.
We'd like to introduce the first of our line of Lovecraftian gods - Dagon. Sitting upon a Gargantuan Base (4 inch / 4 squre diameter), he stands twice as high as our Starspawn and is an imposing and fearsome presence on any tabletop. We've really worked to bring out all the details of this pelagic nightmare, from the jagged spinal sailfins to the grand bas-reliefs decorating the monolith upon which he clings.
This model consists of 1 Dagon and 1 Base and comes unassembled and unpainted. We recommend that you use superglue (following the manufacture's safety procedures) to attach the model to the base. It has been 3D printed using a semi-rigid modelling resin. This means that the model compares favourably to the impact resistant of injection moulded model kits and is far less brittle than traditional resin 3D prints.
All the models have had their supports removed and have been post cured making them ready to be glued onto the base and painted; however, if you wish to remove any additional artifacts from the manufacturing process or model and kit-bash your model, it can be cut and scraped with a craft knife just like a styrene model. If you are to sand or file the model we do recommend that you wear respiratory protection and do so in a well-ventilated area.
